Summer Season Overview

T-Ball and Rookie sessions will be held every Sunday, weather permitting and holidays excluded, from July to August.

Minor, Major, and Junior divisions will run from July to August, including playoffs, with varied game and practice times scheduled during the week. A Senior division will be offered if there is sufficient interest (only the waitlist will be open for now, with no need for payment).

Registration

Divisions are based on age, and players must be registered for the division that matches their age. Please see the age chart below to determine the right division for your child.
 
T-Ball Ages 4 to 6 (Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2021)
Rookie Ages 7 to 8 (Sept. 1, 2016, to Aug. 31, 2018)
Minor Ages 9 to 10 (Sept. 1, 2014, to Aug. 31, 2016)
Major Ages 11 to 12 (Sept. 1, 2012, to Aug. 31, 2014)
Junior Ages 13 to 14 (Sept. 1, 2010, to Aug. 31, 2012)
Senior (TBD) Ages 15 to 16 (Sept. 1, 2008, to Aug. 31, 2010)

Schedules will be provided to players by coaches after teams are formed. Maps to all GLL field locations can be found here.

Spaces are limited, so it's important to register early. The deadline to register is June 15, 2025.

Waitlists will be opened for all divisions that fill up early. If there's sufficient interest, addititional spots may be made available at the discretion of the GLL Executive Board. Considerations will include overall competitive balance and the need to roster complete teams.

Equipment

Gloves are mandatory while cleats are recommended, especially at older levels. Bats, helmets, and catching gear will be made available at every game, but players are also welcome to bring their own equipment. Certain bat types may be restricted; please consult with your coach.

Jerseys will be provided to players at the beginning of the season; they must be returned at the end of the season. Free hats will be provided to players.

For players at the Minor level or above, full-length pants or shorter pants with long socks must be worn. Shorts are not permitted.

Special Requests

During the registration process, you can request that your child play with a friend or sibling or make another type of special request. The League will review each request and try to accommodate them based on what is reasonable and practical. Considerations will include overall competitive balance, individual skill, the health and safety of all players and umpires, transportation considerations, the need to roster teams of equal size, and the number of requests per player.

Volunteers

We need volunteers to have a successful season. A nominal allowance will be provided for these key positions:
 
Board Member: Help us to run the league. At the moment, we are looking for a Fall Ball Lead and a Winter Ball Lead.
 
Head Coach: Help us create a fun and inclusive environment for our players. You ensure that our teams are focused on fundamentals, fair play, and fun.
 
Convener: Help us ensure our season runs smoothly. You will be responsible for one division/age group, and be a key point of contact for coaches to ensure they have what they need and to manage any escalations from parents.

There are no rainout or makeup games for T-Ball.

Rookie

There are no rainout or makeup games for Rookie.

Minor

Major

Junior

  • Home fields: Brewer Park and Jasmine Park 
  • One game each week, 6:00 p.m. start time
  • One practice each week
  • ​Rainout and makeup games on weekends
  • Days of play: Monday through Sunday inclusive, except for Friday

Senior (TBD)

  • Home fields: Brewer Park and Jasmine Park
  • One game each week, 6:00 p.m. start time
  • One practice each week
  • Rainout and makeup games on weekends
  • Days of play: Monday through Sunday inclusive, except for Friday

Refund Policy

Glebe Little League refund policy is:
  • Registration until six weeks before program start: 100% refund
  • Between four and six weeks before program start: 100%, less $25.00 administration fee
  • Between one month and one week before program start: 50% refund
  • Less than one week before program start: 0% refund
Exceptions to this policy may be granted by the Glebe Little League Board based on additional information submitted by the parent.
