Girls Baseball
Girls Baseball
The Glebe Little League supports all-girl baseball teams at the Rookie, Minor, Major, and Junior levels. Games are typically held every Sunday, with practice times immediately preceding games. Additional practices may be held during the week. The season runs from May to late-July, including playoffs. The program is designed to build confidence and skills in young female players while making new friends and having fun. The girls will play other all-girl teams from across Ottawa.

Schedules will be provided to players by coaches after teams are formed. Maps to all GLL field locations can be found here.
Players don't have to register for a co-ed team in order to be part of an all-girls team. As always, girls are welcome and encouraged to play in GLL's co-ed divisions in addition to the all-girl divisions.
Please note that if we don’t have enough players registered to form a Glebe team at a specific age level, we will work with other local associations to have players join one of their girls teams or the players will have the option to transfer into the GLL co-ed program at their division. Our goal is to get as many girls playing baseball as possible.
Equipment
Gloves are mandatory while cleats are recommended, especially at older levels. Bats, helmets, and catching gear will be made available at every game, but players are also welcome to bring their own equipment. Certain bat types may be restricted; please consult with your coach.Volunteers
